I am not surprised... but I would have to know more about the setup...
whether ephemeral:y was involved... or partition files or KDE_Gateway. The
hub TEMS knows a lot of things when there are firewalls involved. When the
rug gets shaken, a lot of things it knows about start breaking and a
recycle is needed to cause remote TEMSes and WPAs to re-register and thus
rebuild the location broker data.

Are Running

Hello All,

I have a strange anomaly occurring when firewall rules are implemented and
ITM components in different zones go "off-line". I thought the "heart
beat" mechanisms would allow the rTEMS to reconnect after some sort of
downtime. The firewall implementation was immediate.

The firewall change to place yesterday evening and when I began to test
this morning, my rTEMS in one zone was showing "off-line" until I
restarted the rTEMS again.

Any idea of what occurred and why they didn't check back in "on-line?"

Regards,

Gregory R. Mendes
