***ANNOUNCE*** hylafax-4.2.3rc1 now available - please help us test!

Folks,

The HylaFAX Development Team is pleased to announce the general
availability of the first release candidate of the upcoming 4.2.3 release of
HylaFAX! This release contains a number of very significant improvements
(including one security fix) that have been contributed by developers since
the release of  4.2.2, and has been tested by developers in preparation for
the next release.

We'd like to make sure we iron out as many bugs as possible before
finalizing 4.2.2 though, and now we need your help. If you can, please
download, compile and test this release candidate in your environment, and
report any problems you find to the HylaFAX bugzilla at

       http://bugs.hylafax.org/bugzilla/

We'd like to stress that _everyone_ is welcome to post bugs on bugzilla, and 
to
join the hylafax-devel mailing list and follow along with (and ideally 
contribute
to) the discussions/debates there.

If no major issues are discovered, this release candidate will become the
final 4.2.3 release this Sunday night (the 13th), so please test as soon as 
you
can!
