Can this be reproduced? You are using your own software. Are you sure that the
software actually sent different documents to HylaFAX? What hfaxd protocol
command do you use to send the file? If you don't have hfaxd use a temporary
file with STOT or even STOU, (so you use STOR) do you make sure *your software*
sends a unique filename for use for the different files?

doc642, doc643, ... are correct filenames for HylaFAX generated unique
temporary names, so it looks like you might be using STOT or STOU... although
it's also possible your own software generates filenames using the same naming
format.

You said you had looked at the fax.admin emails to confirm the documents were
different, did you look at the email sent confirming the fax was sent or does
this mailbox contain the request for documents to send used by your software?

Where the documents in /var/spool/hylafax/docq still available? Where they
different there or where they the same?

If you can reproduce this, can you make sure that hfaxd is configured to log
everything (Set ServerTracing to 0xffffffff in /etc/hylafax/hfaxd.conf) and
show us the syslog output from [HylaFAX] for those jobs.

Do you have a modified ps2fax/pdf2fax/tiff2fax command script that is used to
convert those original documents? Would those scripts use non-unique temporary
files/directory that could cause the trouble you see?
