Honestly, I would replace the Elastix system... either that or work with Elastix support in order to get the HylaFAX components upgraded. While it's certainly possible to set-up a second system and run the modems over the network (which I've done before - thus termnetd+ttyd stuff is in the iaxmodem tarball)... it seems like an awfully complicated scenario prone to maintenance nightmares. (Ultimately, I abandoned using it, myself.) I recognize that you have some attachment to that Elastix system. I'm sorry. It really should be upgraded, anyway. Thanks, Lee.
