Re: Hylafax / Avantfax outgoing fax poor quality

Yes, I suspected that so I called my telco support this morning, and 
asked them to check the outgoing line quality, and they said it is as 
good as the incoming line.

I don't know if they are using VoIP on their end or not.  We used these 
line on windows server 2003 fax server before, and we did not have these 
complains.  The problem only started when we switched over to hylafax, 
then we have couple of problems.  One problem is we used usb trendnet 
windem, and kept get wedged both incoming and outgoing.  So I replaced 
with my old USRobotic external serial port modems, then this is when the 
missing and fuzzy text started.

I am using Class 1.  Below is my config.ttyS0 (outgoing) and I also 
changed the xonxoff to rtscts to see if it help 2 weeks ago.  It was 
good for 7-8 days, and problem started again yesterday and today.
