faxes disappear immediately after receiving fax

Hello hylafax-users,

This is my first time using this mailing list!

So my problem is this:
     I seem to only receive 1/5 faxes. Hylafax answers the phone, builds 
the .tif file, and when the fax should be completed the fax disappears! 
I've gone as far as to contact people who are sending me faxes and have 
them watch their server. They say that their end reports the fax 
successfully went through to completion. So what might be happening here?
