At first, welcome to the jurabib developer list and many thanks for this 
patch.

The capitalize functions were contributed by Oren Patashnik in 2001 and 
he suggested the folling workaround:

"Gregory{ }the{ }Theologian"

Applying your patch to jox.bst seems to work well with one minor problem:

Warning--"{G" isn't a brace-balanced string for entry xxx
while executing--line 2306 of file jox.bst

Any ideas?

Another question:
Are you interested to become a official developer of jurabib?
Currently the main jurabib files were uploaded to the sourceforge.net 
SVN system. If you are interested in, I would like to add you as a 
developer and then you can add patches yourself.
