Hello
Previous questions I have asked to this list have never gotten a
response. I am unsure whether it is the subject matter of the questions
or the manner in which I ask them which accounts for this. If this
question is somehow ill-formed for answering, I would be grateful for
someone to point out to me why this is so, so that I may try to fix it.
I have a problem with the formatting of some footnotes:
This is the citation:
\footcite[][Nagel's famous argument for altruism was based on precisely
this idea.]{nagel1970}
This is what I get:
Thomas Nagel, The Possibility of Altruism (Oxford: Clarendon Press,
1970), pp. Nagel's famous argument for altruism was based on precisely
this idea..
Obviously, the problems are two:
1. The second optional argument should precede the citation.
2. There should be no 'pp.'
This did not occur with versions of Jurabib prior to 0.6. As you can see
below, I am using the 'jurabiborder' option. This only occurs if I leave
the first optional argument blank. If there is something in the first
optional argument, then no problem.
I am using Jurabib 0.6. These are my Jurabib arguments:

This is the entry used above:

Address = {Oxford},
Author = {Thomas Nagel},
Publisher = {Clarendon Press},
Shorttitle = {Possibility of Altruism},
Title = {The Possibility of Altruism},
Year = {1970}}
The bibliography is generated standardly as follows:
\bibliographystyle{jox} % oxford style
\bibliography{thesis}
Thank you for any help someone can offer.
David.
