I absolutely agree. My suggestion was a compromise between the features
I urgently need and the time Jens has to realise them.

That would be really great! Actually I really have this problem of
different ways of citation. And I would prefer the second solution --
whereas the possibility to determine the delimiters globally for a
special archive or subarchive would be fine. Note that sometimes there
are even different ways of citation for documents from even one archive.
Let's collect nice feature requests. :-)
Jens, what's the best way? Working on basic functionality and
implenting new features later, or collecting all feature requests first?
I fear he's rather shocked about the development archival style
takes... ;-)
