bib entries with only a URL

A user has a bib entry:

@Misc{SU,
  editor = 	 {Finkel, Raphael \textit{et al}},
  title = 	 {Suda On Line: Byzantine Lexicography},
  howpublished = {\url+http://www.stoa.org/sol/+}
  }

but the URL causes all kinds of explosions to detonate when
LaTeX processes the .bbl file. What incantation can I use to
make it work?
