inbook and shorttitle

In jox.bst, is there a way to get shortittles for @inbook to look like
@book instead of @article shortittles?

For example:

@inbook{amalarius:liber,
author = "Amalarius{ }of{ }Metz",
title = "Liber de ordine antiphonarum",
titleaddon = ed.~J. M. Hanssens, \jbtitlefont{Amalarii episcopi opera
liturgica omnia}, 3 vols.",
series = "Studi e Testi 138--40",
publisher = "Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana",
address = "Vatican City",
year = "1948--50",
pages = "13--224",
shorttitle = "De ordine antiphonarum"}

For a first citation (\footcite{amalarius:liber}) I get:

Amalarius of Metz, \emph{Liber de ordine antiphonarum}, ed.~J. M.
Hanssens, \emph{Amalarii episcopi optera liturgica omnia}, 3 vols.,
Studi e Testi 138--40 (Vatican City: Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana,
1948--50), pp. 13--244.

That's perfect! But for a second citation
(\footcite[55]{amalarius:liber}) I get:

Amalarius of Metz, `De ordine antiphonarum', p. 55.

When what I want is:

Amalarius of Metz, \emph{De ordine antiphonarum}, p. 55.

I've been looking through jox.bst and jurabib.sty to find out how to
get @inbook to behave like @book with its shorttitles, but it's all
just beyond me. Is there a simple substitution I could make to get
this behaviour in files? Would the change be in jox.bst or
jurabib.sty? I'd be equally happy to figure out how to make a
parallel version of @incollection that had no quote marks, and used an
italicized title and shorttitle. Basically, I need it to look like
@book, but to have a page range on the end.

Any suggestions would be most welcome. Deadline this Monday, and I've
burned my bridges. It's jurabib all the way!

Many thanks,

Jesse Billett
