As Roman already said, this is okay. But instead of \textsc{Aland} you 
could use \jbauthorfnfont{Aland} (or similar)[1]. This way, the 
formatting depends on your global preferences and also changes if you 
decide to have the Authors/Editors in e.g. italics and not small caps.
