Hello,

I don´t know, if this is the best way, but I´m using the package acronym
to solve this problem. You can set the acronyms in your *.bib-File

Example:

Latex-File:
--
\usepackage[printonlyused]{acronym}
\usepackage{jurabib}
\begin{document}

\cite{Wendehorst:1960}

\section{Abkürzungen}
\begin{acronym}
\acro{DA}{Deutsches Archiv für Erforschung des Mittelalters}
\end{acronym}

\bibliographystyle{jurabib}
\bibliography{literatur}
--

literatur.bib:
--
@ARTICLE{Wendehorst:1960,
  author = {Wendehorst, Alfred},
  title = {Zur M{\"u}nsterschwarzacher Geschichtsschreibung im
Mittelalter},
  shorttitle = {M{\"u}nsterschwarzacher Geschichtsschreibung},
  journal = {\ac{DA}},
  year = {1960},
  volume = {16},
  pages = {224-226},
  keywords = {Diss Wuerzburg Muensterschwarzach Literatur},
  owner = {Quelle: GP III S. 209f.},
}
Greetings

Christofer.
