The following example is self-explanatory, I believe. It only needs the
bib-file provided with the documentation of jurabib.
Did I get anything wrong, have I overlooked anything, is it a bug or a
feature???
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage[see=true,ibidem=strict]{jurabib}
\AddTo\bibsgerman{%
\renewcommand*{\ibidemname}{Ibidem}
\renewcommand*{\ibidemmidname}{ibidem}
}
\begin{document}
\noindent There are two problems with jurabib~--
both have to do with the number of dots at the end of a footnote:
\begin{itemize}
\item When quoting two pages in German you can say 12\,f.\ instead of
12--13. If I do so, I get two dots at the end of the
footnote.\footcite[78\,f.]{broxbgb} Deleting the dot in the brackets is
not realy a good idea, if I dicide to switch from footcite to
cite\cite[78\,f]{broxbgb}.
\item Here everything is fine\footcite[Rn.~357]{medicus}~-- but when I quote
the same page again with an unabreviated \texttt{ibidemname}, I get no
dot at all.\footcite[Rn.~357]{medicus}
\end{itemize}
\bibliography{jbtest}
\bibliographystyle{jurabib}
\end{document}
Thanks for any hint!
Georg
