chicago style in V0.6

Hi all!

I tried to search the archive for hints on my problem, but i couldn't 
find any so far. I try to set a thesis on German language in Latex and 
have to use the chicago style as it is the standard style used at the 
local institute. Unfortunately i can use oxford style etc, but when I 
switch over to to Chicago (commenting out oxford at the same time)
I suddenly get the following error:

The error seems to be in jurabib.sty. I use MikTex together with WinEdt, 
jurabib 0.6 was automatically installed by MikTex, although I manually 
Updated to the current Beta 0.61, which showed the same problem.

If you have any hints I would be glad, otherwise, I would have to enter 
and check >> 100 footcites manually...
