Except that it is so nearly right for some styles - the "Oxford"  
style is easy to produce.  Isn't the problem more that no one has  
implemented "Chicago"?  I'm sure that should be where the effort  
goes, not to re-implementing the many, many things that jurabib  
already makes easy and gets right.
