Were you really using
	Titleaddon = {}
?

When I use this, it works properly.

I assume you are using a Mac, so maybe you are using BibDesk.
Then you indeed have a problem, since BibDesk removes empty fields,  
so maybe you were trying something like
	Titleaddon = {{}}

Then jurabib shows the interpunctuation problem you have described.

So one of the following (or both) should be changed:
- jurabib should treat {{}} as if the field was empty.
- BibDesk should allow setting empty fields.

I don't see how the latter can be implemented in BibDesk 1.x, since  
it obviously is not possible to distinguish between an empty field  
that should be there and one that should be removed (removing empty  
field is a quite desirable feature in most cases).
