Shorttitle has no effect

Hello everybody,

I have to cite two very common historic encyclopaedias in my thesis. The
common shorttitles <Author>(<Year>) are not suitable for those (as you
will hopefully agree viewing the attached pdf with the second and third
citations). Instead there are commonly known acronyms for them: ADB and
DBE. So, as in my supplied example, I added the according shorttitles.
Unfortunately, jurabib ignores them totally.
Could anybody tell me, why the shorttitles have no effect in my document?

P.S. How can I get jurabib to leave the word order of "Kgl. By. Akad. d.
Wissenschaften" untouched in my Bibliography?
