I don't understand: Now you got the desired result without jox.bst?
I thought you'd need the parentheses?

This sounds strange; you want to have the title first and the editor 
after the title? What about an author like in Ashcroft2000?

The punctuation is not so easy as it seems.

Renewcommanding is not so easy as it seems. You are redefining a lot, 
but this can have some unexpected side-effects.
