rcsinfo Konfiguration nach \begin{document}, warum

Hallo 

Ich benutze Mercurial, und finde für LaTeX files rcsinfo nützlich.

Folgendes Minimalbeispiel:

\documentclass[11pt]{article}
\usepackage{xcolor}
\usepackage[scrpage2]{rcsinfo}
\begin{document}
\makeatletter
\def\@rcsInfoFancyInfo{{\footnotesize%
\emph{\fcolorbox{black}{yellow}{Rev: \rcsInfoRevision,}
\rcsInfoOwner,
\rcsInfoLongDate,
\rcsInfoTime}}}
\makeatother
\rcsInfo $Id: manual-matlab-git.tex,v 2716 2023/01/26 10:48:53 oub Exp oub $ 


Some text
\end{document}



Merwürdigerweise kann ich die Konfiguration, zwischen 
\makeatletter

\makeatother

Nicht vor \begin{document} setzen, dann wird sie nämlich ignoriert.
Deshalb kann ich diese Konfiguration auch nicht in einen sty file
schreiben.

Ich kann natürlich \input benutzen, aber das ist auch nicht so
komfortable.

Ich weiß, daß rcsinfo von 2005 ist, und rcs-multi umfangreicher, nur ist
rcsinfo relativ einfach und für meine Zwecke ausreichend.
