My guess is that the sips code broke in 2.0.0.  I am pretty sure that I just ignored the problem in fig_test3 because I did not want to muck around with the image sizing code any more.  

Anyhow I commented out the special Apple code and latex2rtf works as it should.  Thanks for the bug report.
