Dear Sir/Madam,

Latex2rtf doesn't recognize some standard latex commands like \hrule or  
\hrulefill nor can it load some standard packages or classes, or  
special packages that are in my texmf directory. Specifying the full  
path to the packages doesn't help either.

I only use latex2rtf to convert bibliographies to rtf formats. If an  
author is mentioned several times, then his name isn't repeated  but  
replaced by a horizontal rule. The latex command for this is

\providecommand{\bysame}{\leavevmode\hbox to3em{\hrulefill}\thinspace}

Latex2rtf is unable to handle this simple command.
