Hi Bill

I usually use a tabular environment for this:

  \begin{tabular}{cc}
    \begin{minipage}{8.7cm}
      \begin{itemize}
      \item ...
      \item ...
      \item ...
      \end{itemize}
    \end{minipage}
    &
    \begin{minipage}{2cm}
      \includegraphics{...}
    \end{minipage}
  \end{tabular}

not very elegant, but it works...
