Yes. Acroread V5 is buggy on Linux (black boxes everywhere on slides).
V4 is not without bugs but at least without black boxes.
It's a shame than xpdf doesn't have access to the way Adobe implement
transitions between pages (copyright ?). It would allow to have the good
replacement for acroread under Linux.
