I hope these features get into prosper soon. I am looking forward
to the day when Prosper can compete with powerpoint.

Couple of months ago when I had some spare time in my hands, I
decided 
to add some features to prosper. I was wondering if anybody would
want 
to try it out, and possibly improve the feature set.

The current features include:

1. Use hyperref to generate bookmarks instead of raw PDF. This
results 
in hierarchical bookmarks being generated.

2. Automatically generate a PDFtarget for each slide, overlay and
part. 
So one can place hypertargets more easily.

3. Add support for navigation panels in the bottom of the slides.

4. Add macros for generating navigation buttons for (nextslide, 
nextpart, prevpart, prevslide, startofpart...)

5. partslide and titleslide are new environments (similar to
slide though).

6. \part is now a wrapper around partslide environment. If you
need a 
part slide which has additional information, then you can use the

\begin{partslide} \end{partslide}

Based on the mails in the mailing list, one additional feature
which 
would be useful is to make the slide environment take an
additional 
argument which specifies the slide style.

\begin[style=default,transition=Glitter]{slide title}
...
\end{slide}

\begin[style=cylinder]{next slide title}
....
\end{slide}

would make the two slides with different backgrounds, look and
feel...
To make use of the navigation panel, the PPRfiles should have a
call to 
\PutPanel, after the call to \PutLogo.

The only caveat is that since I am LaTeX guy most of the new
code, is in 
LaTeX and not TeX. So they may not be very efficient.

If people are interested in trying it out, I can email the 
newprosper.cls (for want of a better name).
