The problem is indeed not reproducable. It must be either seminar or
prosper that is not up to date. Notice that you should use prosper.cls
1.24 (2002/11/25) (CTAN), not the package from sourceforge (unless you
take version 1.24 from the CVS).

These patches are loaded by prosper.cls 1.24 (CTAN) already:
