Yes, create your own style with one of the (HA-)prosper styles
as a starting point. Delete the parts that you don't want
and use
\rput(a,b){\includegraphics{myBackground.ps}}
in the template. \rput is a PSTricks command. See the docs
and the example styles.
This way, all the slides will be changed for you. Be warned
that when using a rendered image (eg coming from a photo, JPEG)
the presentation will become _very_ big since the photo will
be included at every page.
