RE: overlay vs. counter

I had a look at your pdf's. I still cannot reproduce the problem so
I think it must be coming from some out of date package. My \listfiles
for your example is below. Please check all versions and update where
necessary. Please let me know if the problem persists after updating
all of the old packages.

Furthermore, prosper will have problems with numbers on overlays(
but different from the problems you have!) HA-prosper includes a
patch for figure/equation/table numbers and I will build a general
user interface for custom counters soon. In the mean time, you could
have a look at http://wikiprosper.bbclone.de for a hack to adjust
numbers on overlays in prosper.
