Thanks for your contribution, but HA-prosper 4.1 already contains a more
general implementation. It is still in beta stage, but the development
snapshot can be downloaded from my website. With this snapshot you can do:
\HAPsetup{counters={theorem,equation,mycounter,figure}}
to protect these counters in the entire presentation.
