Pesky colortbl problem

Greetings. I'd like to make a prosper slide containing a table with
colored background shading of certain cells, but I'm unable to get to
first base using the colortbl package with prosper. Henri recently posted
the following as code that works:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
\documentclass[final,pdf,slideColor,colorBG,frames]{prosper}
\usepackage{colortbl}
\begin{document}

\overlays{2}{
\begin{slide}{Color Table}

\begin{tabular}{|c|c|}
\hline
100  &   +0,16    \\ \hline
120  &\cellcolor{red}  +0,06    \\ \hline
140  &\fromSlide*{2}{\cellcolor{blue}}   +0,06    \\ \hline
\end{tabular}
\end{slide} }

\end{document}
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

But on my system (OzTeX 5.1), I keep getting a cryptic "Missing
\begin{document}" error message, even though the \begin{document} is
clearly there. The last few lines of the log-file read:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The line 159 in question appears in color.sty. I was able to get colortbl
to work normally in a simple non-prosper document. Any insights about
what's wrong?
