Thanks for suggestion. 
I have reinstalled MiKTex using MiKTex installation instructions and all 
packages are now in c:\texmf\tex\latex.  
I latexed prosper-tour.tex which is located as before in 
c:\texmf\doc\latex\prosper directory. 

When I latexed prosper-tour.tex I have got the message:
"Some Post Script cpecials cannot be rendered"

I have converted then dvi file to ps: 
I got the following Ghostscript messages in the separate GSView window (I copied it 
down here between "star" lines), after I hit Ok, I got nothing in GSView. 

Please let me know what else I can do to fix the problem: Seems like ps file s not coming out correctly.
