Hendri, Thanks for suggestion. I have reinstalled MiKTex using MiKTex installation instructions and all packages are now in c:\texmf\tex\latex. I latexed prosper-tour.tex which is located as before in c:\texmf\doc\latex\prosper directory. When I latexed prosper-tour.tex I have got the message: "Some Post Script cpecials cannot be rendered" I have converted then dvi file to ps: I got the following Ghostscript messages in the separate GSView window (I copied it down here between "star" lines), after I hit Ok, I got nothing in GSView. Please let me know what else I can do to fix the problem: Seems like ps file s not coming out correctly. ******************************************************************************* GSview 4.4 2003-04-04 Unknown in Comments section at line 8: %%DocumentFonts: Times-Bold Times-BoldItalic Times-Roman Courier CMR8 Unknown in Comments section at line 9: %%+ CMMI8 CMSY8 CMMI12 CMR12 CMMI10 CMMI7 CMR7 CMSY10 CMR10 CMEX10 CMMI5 Unknown in Comments section at line 10: %%+ CMSY7 Unknown in Prolog section at line 112: %%-------------- DG begin patch 15 ---------------%% Unknown in Prolog section at line 128: %%-------------- DG end patch 15 ---------------%% Unknown in Prolog section at line 325: %%Title: Dot Font for PSTricks Unknown in Prolog section at line 326: %%Creator: Timothy Van Zandt <[email protected]> Unknown in Prolog section at line 327: %%Creation Date: May 7, 1993 Unknown in Prolog section at line 328: %% Version 97 patch 1, 99/12/16 Unknown in Prolog section at line 329: %% Modified by Etienne Riga <[email protected]> - Dec. 16, 1999 Unknown in Prolog section at line 330: %% to add /Diamond, /SolidDiamond and /BoldDiamond Unknown in Prolog section at line 468: %%%%%% R0 G0 B0 R1 G1 B1 NumLines MidPoint Angle GradientFill Unknown in Prolog section at line 866: %%% MV 10-09-99 00:36 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1121: %%CreationDate: 1991 Aug 15 07:20:57 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1190: %%CreationDate: 1991 Aug 15 07:21:52 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1245: %%CreationDate: 1996 Aug 02 08:21:10 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1323: %%CreationDate: 1992 Jul 23 21:22:48 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1399: %%CreationDate: 1992 Feb 19 19:54:52 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1495: %%CreationDate: 1991 Aug 20 16:39:21 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1584: %%CreationDate: 1996 Jul 23 07:53:53 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1682: %%CreationDate: 1996 Jul 23 07:53:57 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1780: %%CreationDate: 1991 Aug 20 16:38:05 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1872: %%CreationDate: 1996 Jul 27 08:57:55 Unknown in Prolog section at line 1970: %%CreationDate: 1991 Aug 15 07:22:10 Unknown in Prolog section at line 2032: %%CreationDate: 1996 Jul 23 07:53:54 Unknown in Prolog section at line 2155: %%CreationDate: 1991 Aug 20 16:39:40 AFPL Ghostscript 8.11 (2003-08-16) Copyright (C) 2003 artofcode LLC, Benicia, CA.
