Hi ... Why not just convert to EPS using the JPEG2PS utility?

But if you insist on using the JPG file, you must explicitly define the bounding box by calling

\includegraphics[bb=0 0 xx yy, width=0.9\textwidth]{filname.jpg}

where xx and yy are the width and height of the jpeg image in points

Subject:[Prosper-users] Including .pdf graphics in slides

Hi, I'm using Mac OS X, and TeXShop (using TeX and Ghostscript) to
make slides using prosper. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to
include graphics in .jpg or .pdf format (or any format at all).

When I write:

\includegraphics{King.pdf}

I get the error message:

! LaTeX Error: Cannot determine size of graphic in King.pdf (no BoundingBox).

Based on various suggestions, I've tried executing various scripts in
the Terminal; and tried to insert a Bounding Box line into my pdf
files, but neither of these seem to work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

David
