Adding skillicons to TeXlive

Hi all,

my apologies if this has been discussed before: Is there a reason why
the package skillicons[1] isn't part of TeXlive?  I think the package
qualifies for addition: The license is acceptable, the package files are
properly name-prefixed, doc source is available.  Am I missing
something?

I'm asking because I have an AUCTeX support file lying around on my HD
which I haven't commit for a long time.  I'd delete the file if the
package doesn't qualify for TeXlive.
