Well (and I note we are getting well off-topic here), I do not dispute for one second that there can be valid reasons why one might choose to use LaTeX rather than plain TeX, Zdeněk, and meeting the requirements of a publisher is certainly one of those reasons, but when one has a free hand and can choose to write in whatever language one chooses, then plain TeX (or to be more precise, plain XeTeX) will always be my typesetting language of choice. -- Philip Taylor -------- On 17/01/2026 19:15, Zdenek Wagner wrote: This email originated from outside Royal Holloway.
