Perfect, thanks! Another (small) round:

chemfig depends on simplekv
fvextra depends on upquote,lineno
cprotect depends bigfoot (for suffix)

Well package managers of Linux distributions generally differentiate 
from hard and soft dependencies (Debian has even three levels with hard, 
recommends and suggests). But I guess this would be a lot of dev, while 
human ressources are likely already scarce and better spent on other 
LaTeX projects.

Oh, I defended my thesis years ago. But this is the first document I 
recompile on every TeX Live yearly upgrade to check for 
changes/differences. It’s huge enough that it uses a lot of the packages 
I use elsewhere, so a good first check.
