Correct, but I would expect for tlmgr to give it's usual

    remove: l3backend

log line, not

    tlmgr: tlp for package l3backend cannot be found, please report.

FWIW, I also specifically asked Jonathan to report this here, since the
log message suggested reporting it to _someone_, and I don't know enough
Perl to do anything else more useful :).
