msc package using PStricks in XeLaTeX in MiKTeX 2.9

Thank you for MiKTeX.  It is an incredible body of well-designed work that is
well-integrated into Windows conventions.  But I am having troubles with
PStricks-emulation-mode in Xe(La)Tex that I cannot reproduce in PStricks for
garden-variety LaTex-to-DVI.  Working in an
English-Japanese-mathematical-symbol environment, I need the Unicode
support, so non-Xe(La)Tex is not a viable option.

Twice now I have successfully used the MiKTeX 2.9 msc package to correctly
generate output as intended.  But after each successful generation PDF
output (without warnings), the variant of PStricks tailored for Xe(La)Tex
gets into a persistent state-of-affairs where 22 PStricks-centric warnings
(see stdout & stderr section far below) are emitted and only text is present
in the output without any of the PStricks-drawn lines & rectangles.  To
reset to good working state, I uninstalled MiKTeX 2.9 and reinstalled, which
is too heavy-weight to be a workaround. :-)   Conversely, deleting all
generated files in my userland directory, leaving only the originial
exampleMsc.tex file does not rid Xe(La)Tex-PStricks of this persistent
misbehavior.

The command line is:  C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex\bin\xelatex.exe 
--src -interaction=nonstopmode -enable-write18 -max-print-line=120 "%Wm"

I suspect that the temporary file related to -enable-write18 is in the
vicinity of my troubles.  At the very least, might someone please introduce
me to the details of how MiKTeX's Xe(La)Tex would write out that temporary
file as part of performing the PStricks for an otherwise PDF-centric
Xe(La)Tex under normal operations.  From there I am hoping that either
someone on this email list or myself can see how -enable-write18 might be
(mis)behaving in a stateful=persistent bad-behavior way.  Perhaps might I
delete some temporary file(s) written by -enable-write18 somewhere?
