-enable-write18 is not needed to use pstricks with xetex. I doubt
that it is the source of the problem. And reinstalling miktex seldom
solves a problem.

Your example works fine for me and as far as I can see we have the
same package versions. Compile your exampleMsc.tex on the command
line with 

xelatex --no-pdf exampleMsc.tex

This should give you a exampleMsc.xdv. Then run

xdvipdfmx -vv exampleMsc.xdv

Perhaps this gives more informations about the source of the
problem. If not you will have to get a trace

Did you replace your real name/company? If yes, do they contain
space or non-ascii-characters?
