Hello,

By facing the same problem I meant that when I try to compile the file - attached is the file I am trying to compile - from the WinEdt I press PDF Latex or PDF Tex. But I got the following in the command promote

>> Undefined Control Sequence
>> 1.7 documnetclass {article}.

Also, When I go to start menu -->MikTex --> maintenance --> settings (Admin) --> Packages, and I put the cursor on any of the packages, the message says not installed.

Can you please tell me how to fix this one. I will see the links in you e-mail, but if you have an answer, I would be thankful because I have to start writing with it.

Thanks,

Alaa.
