Even though inverse dvi search works properly, I continue to be unable to call WinEdt when I type 'e' after a compilation error. This used to be easy - when you had things set up with inverse dvi search, you got 'e' working correctly too. Now the best advice I have received involves changing Windows Registry. Two comments here: 1) This shouldn't be necessary; 2) I am also unable to effect the suggested change to the registry. I'm using MikTeX 2.9; WinEdt 5.5 under Windows 7. Edgar -- Edgar G.
