Well did you do it? Did you install the cm-super fonts?
Regarding your problem: I don't understand what your problem is. So
better show it: Make a small complete example that demonstrates your
problem. Compile it with pdflatex and with latex + dvips. Then put
the two log-files, the pdf, the tex-file, the dvi and the ps in a
zip-file and put them somewhere on the net for download.
