Re: Bibtex problem with miktex 2.9

Why not abandon bibtex and go with biblatex? I just did a clean install of 2.9 and biblatex works fine. I use biblatex and biber and everything is very functional. bibtex is old and tired and does not do well on things.

I cannot get bibtex to work the way it was with 2.7 (windows xp), that is, the bib file was in a folder where I keep such things. I tried other folders such as bibtex/bib/ or bibtex/bib/mybibs/ etc.

Any suggestions?
