Window API 1113 error

Good morning.
I just downloaded the new release of MiKTeX 2.9 Version 4236 2011-08-07.
I still have the problem whenI run LaTeX to produce a dvi file :

Windows API error 1113: No mapping for the Unicode character exists in the
target multi-byte code page.

I am using Babel, French. Any idea how to fix it ?
