I have just changed from MikTeX 2.7 to MikTex 2.9 . Most
things work smoothly, except:
when using etex, e.g. " etex.exe source.tex " ,
I get the error message
" etex: The memory dump file could not be found
etex: data: etex.fmt "
I think I understand what that means: googling `managing
memory dump files' gave some good info. But I am still not
quite sure what exactly I should do in the `MikTeX Options:
general settings' window (as recommended there):
just add etex.fmt ?
in admin mode ?
I would appreciate any practical advice; thanks.
ccn.
