Hmmm, does he get the correct pdf  using   latex -> dvips -> ps2pdf?

If the problem is only in  Yap viewing I suggest try to  the change the
configuration
of the Yap  (View -> Options -> Display -> Defaut render method..

It is just a guess OK?
