No. I failed too. Actually the bug tracker looks odd. Compared to the feature requests tracker there are buttons missing. Two days ago I misused the feature request form to add a bug report. I'm quite confident too. Btw: It is possible to get around the problem by copying an older version of miktex209-core.dll in the miktex/bin-folder. You can find it e.g. in the basic installer. Or on outdated repositories.
