Files failing verification when downloading

Hi,

When using the net installer to update my local distribution directory,
it fails with the error message: "The operation could not be completed
for the following reason: The operation could not be completed because
the following file failed verification:
T:\apps\Miktex\2.9\repository\nameauth.tar.lzma"

The file in question is not in that folder, so I think the problem is in
the source distribution on the network.

The log file says:

downloading
http://mirrors.med.harvard.edu/ctan/systems/win32/miktex/tm/packages/nameauth.tar.lzma
(expecting 695344 bytes)...
701030 bytes, 542.04 KB/Sec

An error occurred:
   source file: Libraries\MiKTeX\PackageManager\PackageInstaller.cpp
   source line: 3281
message: The operation could not be completed because the following
file failed verification:

I've tried three different mirrors and two different versions of net
installer (version 2.9.4222, and the latest, 2.9.4503). I've also tried
downloading a completely fresh copy of the distribution, and this failed
in a similar way but with the file anyfontsize.tar.lzma:

downloading
http://elena.aut.ac.nz/ctan/systems/win32/miktex/tm/packages/anyfontsize.tar.lzma
(expecting 2450 bytes)...
2419 bytes, 76.20 KB/Sec

Using the 64-bit version of the net installer made no difference.

Choosing the Basic distribution instead of the Complete distribution
failed on file pstricks.tar.lzma:

downloading
http://elena.aut.ac.nz/ctan/systems/win32/miktex/tm/packages/pstricks.tar.lzma
(expecting 7389796 bytes)...
7389889 bytes, 524.51 KB/Sec

Anybody know what's going on? Is it working for anyone else?

   Harry.
