MikTeX 2.9 and windows 8.1

I want to share my experience of setup MikTeX 2.9 in windows 8.1. Even this
windows is in preview now, my experience tells me that Microsoft very rare
changes some features. Usually I install minimal software, then try to
compile at least one tex file. It allows during compilation to setup some
packages that I need. After this I run update to have packages up to date.

At this time it appeared little different. When I tried install package at
compile time, the MilTeX responded me that it cannot find sty or cls file;
so such installation was impossible. I was able to install some packages
using package manager. But for some packages (like Russian fonts) I had
problems as well. However after rebooting system I was able to install
missing packages and now I run MikTeX without problem.]
