Sorry for my mistake: there is no SW in my own computer, but there is  SW in the computers of our department's lab. So I have copy Tex file from my own to the lab computer.

The question for me now is:

I checked the CTAN web, there are two packages related to etex:

1. http://www.ctan.org/pkg/etex
2. http://www.ctan.org/pkg/etex-pkg
But the problem is that in 1, there are so many files; while in 2,
there is only one file. I do not know how to install either of them.

Any thoughts?

Best,

Wu

How can you get an error from SW when you don't have it?

Make an effort to describe your problem better. I don't want to
waste my time to guess around what system you are using.
