Re: miktex 2.1 on win 7 problem: metafont mode s not seen by initexmf, Yap

Thank  you for your attention to my letter.

You are absolutely right:I seem to be at least as conservative as Donald Knuth.
As I have no problems with MikTeX 2.1 on my home desktop running XP,
I am going to use it further and not to ask any help (what I never did).
 On the contrary, I will recommend to my colleague (who uses Windows 7)
to try some later version of MikTeX, possibly 2.9.
